The Steve Nathan Big Band is a powerhouse 17-piece ensemble redefining big band jazz with a fresh voice. Based in Kent, the band performs their own original compositions and arrangements in a bold mix of contemporary swing, jazz, and fusion.
Rather than replaying the classics, the band recreates the energy and excitement of the big band era in a modern, unique and exciting language. They have featured for three years running at the Herne Bay Jazz Festival and earlier this year recorded their debut studio album.
Every performance is a celebration of originality, brimming with powerful horns, driving rhythm, and the creative spark that sets the Steve Nathan Big Band apart.
