Mad March Quiz Raises £555 - posted on 21-03-2010 - read more
The Mad March Quiz took place on Friday 19th March 2010 at Crampton Tower Main Hall with a sell-out attendance of 95 players across 14 teams.
With Ian Lodge as the quizmaster, categories included Sports, March, TV & Films and General Knowledge.
It was a closely contested event with 6 teams separated by 5 points at the end, with eventual winners The Famous 5 takeing the prizes donated by The Bottleneck, Charlotte Street, Broadstairs.
The Chamber managed to raise £555, of which £159 was taken on the raffle with thanks to all the local businesses who donated raffle prizes. Special thanks to Wynne, June and their friends for helping with the fundraising games.
A Chamber meting in May will discuss when our next quiz will take place, later in the year.
