Aims
and Objectives |
Our aims and objectives:

to protect the common interests of the businesses of the town
-
to encourage the public to shop locally
-
to ensure the town's businesses are appropriately represented
on local committees and forums

to provide meetings for discussion, debate and
exchange of views on subjects concerning trade, business and
the welfare of the traders of the town
-
to monitor public administration and local expenditure
-
to be aware of legislation of interest to the business and
traders of the town
-
to work closely with the Town, District and County Councils,
the Police and other agencies
-
to co-operate with relevant bodies in the promotion of tourism
in the area
-
to support environmental and recycling initiatives
